After dabbling in a little bit of Neuroscience, Jamaica completed a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics & Japanese majors) at the University of Western Australia, and a Masters of Speech Pathology at Curtin University. Since graduating, Jamaica has worked with a wide range of clients in the hospital, community, and home setting. She has a special interest in progressive neurological conditions and believes in focusing on a person’s strengths and current abilities, to maximise their potential. Jamaica enjoys working with her clients on the things that matter to them, especially when that means getting out and about in the community and staying in touch with friends and family, and continuing to experience the joy that food brings! Outside of work, Jamaica is an indoor plant enthusiast, crazy cat lady, avid Eagles supporter, arthouse documentary-watcher, and lover of all things made with pastry!
